Extend a video, audio, and RS232 control signal up to 300ft at 1920x1200 resolution The 4-Port VGA+3.5mm Audio+RS232 over UTP Box Transmitter, when used in conjunction with receivers (29371, 29373, 29376 or 29379 - NOT INCLUDED), allows you to extend a VGA, 3.5mm audio, and RS232 signal over two Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 unshielded twisted pair cables to up to four connected monitors and up to sixteen monitors by daisy-chaining receivers. This system can extend a signal up to 300/500ft (depending on receiver used) without signal degradation at 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 resolutions. This solution is compatible with any operating system and is truly plug and play with no drivers or software required. The receivers (not included) come in either wall plate or box form factors and are interoperable allowing you to choose the form factors that are best suited for the application. In addition, this solution utilizes phantom power providing you the flexibility to power at either the transmitter or each receiver end. The EDID copy feature ensures compatibility with any monitor. Built-In power surge protection and high ground loop immunity ensure high performance signal extension. The RS232 serial port supports full-duplex data communication at 230Kbps and is fully compatible with all RS232 protocols.
